If you live in a major city, most likely every day you walk past a homeless person. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you may not even notice that person, or you may make an incorrect judgement about who that person is and why they are on the streets. But every person has a story that led them to homelessness, and almost all of them go beyond the typical stereotypes.
In this video from Rethink Homelessness, called “Cardboard Stories”, homeless people in Orlando, Florida were asked to write down a fact about themselves that other people wouldn’t know just by walking past them. Their answers may surprise you.
