In many countries, guide dogs are exempt from laws prohibiting animals in places like restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation etc. That’s because they are such an important aid for disabled people, helping them navigate obstacles, see colours of signs, hear sounds and more. But unfortunately many remain ignorant to the rules regarding the acceptance of guide dogs in these public places.
Advertising agency TRY Apt created this commercial for the Norwegian Association of the Blind to help the public accept the role of guide dogs. In it, other animals take over a guide dog’s duties to show people how it could be worse.
